CC&A Insurance Brokers offers “Special Contingency Cover”, to cover the risk of kidnap for ransom, extortion, detention and hijackings…

Given the current turmoil that the world is in, and identifying and pursuing business interests abroad where there is a very real and identifiable risk, we are now offering this cover in order to assist our clients in mitigating  the risk of kidnap for ransom, extortion, detention and hijackings. With 15 000 – 20 000 reported incidents of kidnap and ransom incidents annually (due to the sensitivity of these events it is estimated that the actual number of incidents are significantly higher) we now offer this product to help mitigate this real risk for our clients.

These covers can apply to corporate clients with local or overseas operations where international/national travel is a necessity and can cover specified individuals or the entire workforce. Given the nature of these policies and that there is a growing demand for these type of covers, policies are treated with the strictest confidentiality in order to provide further peace of mind to our clients.
